The political climate in Odisha is tense once again. As BJD Supremo and former Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik undergoes treatment in hospital, concern over his health has become a matter of public discussion. Both party leaders and the people of Odisha are anxiously waiting for clarity about his condition.
However, the way information is being controlled has triggered new debates. VK Pandian, the most powerful aide of Naveen Patnaik, is facing criticism for not allowing senior BJD leaders to meet Naveen or get proper updates about his health.
